We make a habit of only asking you to translate into your native language and usually require that you work on projects that target the language and culture of the country in which you reside. We might not use your services immediately, but your information will be kept on record and we will contact you when the need for your language skills and specific subject knowledge arises. We have two categories of freelancers with whom we work:

General Freelance Translators and Proofreaders

The generalists will work on more common subjects and fields in which very little industry specific professional experience is required to accurately communicate from one language to another. Jobs will only be given to Generalists to translate into their native language and target country of residence

Minimum Requirements:

· 3 years professional language translation in each of the languages pairs in which you work.
· Membership of the professional translation association in your country.
· University degree preferred.

Specialist Freelance Translators and Proofreaders

Specialists will usually be given jobs that require the very specific experience and knowledge that they hold in their respective fields in addition to professional knowledge of communication in the language pairs they may work with. Only jobs requiring translation into their native language and target country of residence will be given to Specialists.

Minimum Requirements:

· University degree in your area of specialty
· 3 years of professional language translation experience (of each language pair) in your respective specialties.
· Membership of the professional translation association in your country.
